The Pensive Warrior
My name is Louis, meaning “famous warrior.” The joy of writing has been a passion of my heart since the first time I wrote an essay. I love the art of contemplative writing, reflection, analysis, and exhortation. Here at Pensive Warrior I endeavor to tell inspiring tales from this great world God has made.
My focus which each post is on “The Three E’s.” “Edification,” the specific teaching of others about God’s Way. “Education,” the teaching – in a broader sense – of all things worth knowing. And “Exhortation,” the encouraging of others to do what is right.
Edification
Edification is the act of making oneself or others holy in our behavior, our thoughts, and in our hearts. We do that to ourselves by following God, and we use the influence we have over others for good when we serve as positive role models in their lives.
Education
Education is the process of teaching new knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. A good teacher understands something well enough to ensure others are able to understand it from him. A great teacher is a lifelong student himself, forever pursuing his education.
Exhortation
Exhortation, in a Biblical sense, is when we encourage others to keep the faith and endure in good works. For those who endure to the end shall reign with the Lord. They show go on and not grow weary. They shall enjoy goodness everlasting.

As the Lord tells us to do all the work we do wholeheartedly, as unto Him, so do I strive to do as such for all along my path.
As a scholar and a warrior, it is my honor to share with others all that has been given unto my, and to inspire them to do the same with that in their charge.
When we all do our best with what we can do, the world becomes a brighter place and we all benefit.
